FlockPhotography
is displaying urban contemporary pieces by Anthony Melton and Tom Moore. The pieces have been especially selected to match the effortless urban retro cool that is Under the Stairs. All the pieces have been framed using original 50's, 60's and 70's frames updated with contemporary colour finishes to match the lounge style furnishings and decor of what is quite possibly the funkiest new bar in Edinburgh.

FlockPhotography now appearing at Quartermile Edinburgh

Images from FlockPhotography have been used to accessorise an interior designed by Tangram Furnishers for the show home at the exclusive Quartermile development in Edinburgh. Master-planned by world-renowned architects Foster + Partners, Quartermile blends the capital's heritage with striking modern architecture within which FlockPhotography is now hung.

FlockPhotography art was chosen to compliment the colour schemes of the interior designer, Tangram Furnishers. The canvases enhance the slick lines of this modern apartment with organic natural beauty.

Here are some of the stylish rooms in the Quartermile show home:

Coconut Grove exhibition success

After a somewhat raucous opening night FlockPhotography has had great reviews from the exhibition at the Coconut Grove. The List 'Eating and Drinking guide', Edinburgh and Glasgow’s foremost listing magazine commented on how the FlockPhotography differentiated the restaurant from the norm of a piñata festooned Mexican restaurant to create and interesting mix of contemporary photography and traditional Mexican artwork. FlockPhotography is spicing it up! Thanks to the team at Coconut Grove for their limitless hospitality.

Carole Gomez is an established photographer whose Father and great Grandfather were photographers and had darkrooms at home. She believes that she has inherited a genetic obsession for photography. Carole takes macro, landscapes and urban observation shots. We think that her use of light and sense of space is fantastic.

Exhibition in Edinburgh

FlockPhotography is holding an exhibition in Edinburgh. Running for the whole of March you can come and see our Perspex, canvas and framed art at Coconut Grove. The exhibit will include a number of texture and abstract pieces as well as a selection of unique Scottish views.

The opening night will be a fiesta of an occasion with tapas and Mexican cheer. Come along and have a happy Monday. The exhibit will be opening at 6pm on March 3rd at Coconut Grove, 3 Lochrin Terrace, Edinburgh, EH3 9QJ. View a map>>

New website features and new printers

FlockPhotography have recently updated our shopping cart so it easier to buy our unique art. With our mini-cart feature, you can now see the art that you have added to the shopping cart whilst you are browsing the site.

To extend our product range we have also joined forces with two new printers. Fruit Art and King & McGaw enable us to combine the fulfillment capability of large print houses with unique, individual art. In addition to our canvas, Perspex and photographic print art, FlockPhotography will soon be offering framed pieces through the site.

Coming soon - Karl Blackwell I saw Karl's work in Spain this summer and felt compelled to contact him. I love the way that he captures colour and form. But don't take my word for it, this is what 'The Australian Newspaper' had to say: 'Karl Blackwell, a travel photographer, whose work is featured in top international travel guides including Time Out, BBC, Lonely Planet and Michelin guidebooks plus a host of glossy magazines, has probably lured more people into exploring strange lands with his evocative pictures than any contemporary. Blackwell came to photography as a child, when travelling each summer with his family through the backblocks of Europe. He had a small camera, a limited budget and a desire to do something more than merely record his holidays. Welcome to our blog...

Here we hope to tell you about projects we are creating and artists we are signing. We also want to share information about our services and let you into the world of FlockPhotography.

Our new website http://www.flockphotography.com/ was launched two weeks ago and aims to give you a better buying experience.

On our website you can buy canvas prints, perspex art and paper prints using loads of cool interior searches. You can upload pictures of rooms in your home to view art that will match or just choose the paint colour of your room to find art.
